Jo Rice Lavinia Workshop Saturday 15th June 2024

Jo Rice Lavinia Workshop Saturday 15th June 2024

If you would like to join us it is now time to act - read on!

We are delighted to have another workshop scheduled with Jo Rice. This will be the 3rd one with Jo Rice and it is great to have her come back to Lilliesleaf.

For those that don't know Jo Rice. Jo is head of the design team at Lavinia Stamps and as previously this will be a Lavinia themed Workshop. (You will find all of our Lavinia products here).

A few workshop details.

Venue- Currie Memorial Hall, Lilliesleaf, Melrose, Scottish Borders, TD6 9HX
Date- Saturday 15th June 2024 (Note it is a Saturday this time!)
Time- 10.30 to 3.30
Cost - £45 (payment required to secure your place). Note Jo Rice will be administering the bookings. If you have any questions please feel free to either email us (enquiries@stampersgrove.co.uk) or Jo Rice (jrcrafts28@gmail.com) and we or Jo Rice will get back to you.

Note the venue has parking directly outside. There is also parking in the village and next door at the Primary School. (See bottom of this page for some general advice in terms of getting to Lilliesleaf).

Note the cost will include a light lunch and some refreshments. (When booking your place please let us know if there are any allergies or dietary requirements that we should be aware of) .

In the class we will be creating a number of Lavinia projects. Jo will be demonstrating and then you will have plenty of time to craft, ask questions and just enjoy yourself.

We at Stampers Grove (James and Emma) will have a small shop* with us on the day with all of our Lavinia products and a few other bits.

*Note Stampers Grove don't have a physical shop anymore, so this will be a pop up shop with a selection of our crafting goodies (mainly Lavinia). We have created a coupon code for those attending the class that would like to access our whole website (9000+ products) and collect their products on the day of the class (only use if you have fully paid up for the class). Use the coupon 'LEAFJUNE' (spends > £15) [Valid up until and including Thursday 13th June] and this will remove postage and it will take 5% off all items on our website which are not currently discounted. We will have an envelope with your name on it which we will pass you before the class starts.

Product list: We will provide details when we have them.

Jo and of course us James and Emma are really looking forward to this and hope you can join us.

To make our life as easy as possible and to give you peace of mind that you have a place on the workshop if you want one (without the workshop being over subscribed) you can now reserve your right to book a place on the workshop. We have created a notional product (zero cost) at this stage (see below). After making sure you are happy with the workshop details, add it to your basket (do so as a separate order i.e. don't order with anything else) and then submit your order as you would with any other order. You will receive a confirmation email. We will then be touch.

If you would like to join us it is now time to act.

**Jo Rice will be in touch and payment will be required to secure your booking. (Please allow a few days for this).
***Cancellation may be made up to two weeks prior to the event (i.e. by 1 June) and a refund will be give providing your place can be sold

Note: inevitably there may be circumstances which are out of our control which may cause us to alter the arrangements. Obviously if this was the case we would attempt to reschedule where possible. Refunds relating to the Workshop fees would then be offered if you were then unable to attend. We are sorry but we can't be held liable to any other consequential losses which may arise. We would of course give as much notice as possible where this was the case.

How to get there? Lilliesleaf is lovely rural village however not best served by public transport. To give you an idea our nearest shop is probably about 5-6 miles away. We have run workshops here before and everyone has managed to get here fine thankfully. There is no public transport directly through the village. So the easiest way to get to Lilliesleaf would be by car.  We are about a 70 minute drive from Edinburgh. In terms of towns near by (e.g. if you were looking for accomodation). Distances as follows: Melrose (7 Miles), Selkirk (6 miles), Hawick (8 miles), Jedburgh (11 miles), Kelso (15 miles). You may of course find other accommodation nearer if you put the post code TD6 9HX into a accomodation finding website. The nearest train station is Tweedbank (near Melrose) about 7 miles away.
