Terms and Conditions

We are despatching orders placed on our website no later than the next working day currently. If we are not able to do this for specific cases we will be in touch via email or telephone (if this contact information has been provided to us). We currently use Royal Mail for our postal services. In light of the Coronavirus your deliveries will often take longer at the moment during transit. Our current experience is parcels in most cases will take 1 to 3 days within the UK, but for a significant minority can take longer. We will always endeavour to meet your order in full. However there may be occasions where a given product may have been discontinued or is out of stock, before our website has been updated.

If this occurs we will be in contact to provide an alternative solution or refund of the product(s) in question.

We would normally expect orders placed on a given day (assuming items are actually in stock) to be posted out more often than not by the following working day if not sooner.  When sending to the UK we would send first class if the postage cost (to us) is less than £2.40. If the postage cost is greater (and certainly if the weight of the parcel is more than 1 kg) we would send second class. As we endeavour to keep our delivery charges competitive, we would not normally receive any tracking information in relation to a parcel. We would however usually obtain a proof of postage from the post office which will protect us in the event of a delivery going missing in transit. 

There will be occasions where perhaps we are waiting on an item to arrive before being able to despatch. If for this or for some other reason we expect that the delivery will take longer than 1 week (UK), (or 2 weeks if ordering outside of the UK) we would out of courtesy keep you informed of the progress. 

If your circumstances are such that you require delivery to take place before a given date we would strongly encourage you to speak to us first or drop us an email with your intended order and we can advise you if we anticipate any delays which may prevent this from happening.

As long as we have the item in our possession to despatch (this is different to our website stating that the item is in stock) we are happy to use an alternative delivery method if you meet the additional costs associated with this method.

We cannot be held responsible for any knock on consequences of the goods not arriving in a timely fashion to meet your date targets. We will however endeavour to keep you informed of any circumstances in our control to prevent your expectations not being met. This assumes you have advised us what your expectations are.

Postage Costs

Cost of postage will be added to your payment at the point of sale. This will be in line with the table below:

Note the overseas charges have changed as of 31 August 2020 to partly reflect our increased costs in posting overseas. Also we have increased the cost of smaller orders lower than £10. This protects us from additional postage costs associated with certain items and the higher proportionate admin charges associated with smaller orders.

* Note VAT (currently 20%) is included in all the prices quoted on our website. If you are ordering from outside the European Union, no VAT will be charged by us on your order. (VAT will removed before the checkout stage). It is the responsibility of the recipient to pay any VAT/Duty that may apply when the goods arrive on delivery. However, because of the above you will not pay this twice!

Payment Methods

We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, and Paypal on our secure online server.

We do also accept payment by cheque although despatch will be delayed until clearance of the cheque.


Any problem relating to delivery/invoicing must be notified within 7 days. 
In the event of an item going missing, we are able to make a claim with the Royal Mail 20 working days after the date that the item was expected. At that time we would arrange a refund in relation to the missing parcel following written confirmation from the intended recipient that the parcel has indeed not arrived. 


If you are not satisfied with your order for any reason please contact us within 7 days.

If you are asked to return a parcel when returning an item please use the original packing wherever possible. Please also obtain and retain a proof of postage from the post office, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit on return to us. You will require this in the event of any problems in transit. Unless the item is faulty you will be liable for the full costs associated with the return of an item of an item to us.
