Susan says: ?A Day in the Park was created from a blind contour drawing made at the park- blind contour meaning I didn?t look at the sketchbook, only the flowers and did a very quick line drawing with no erasing so all the over and under lines are visible. Additional lines are added later so that the image makes sense and has good composition. This stencil looks great on its own or as part of a larger piece as shown in the first image on the lower right corner. For this piece, Fiber Paste was pushed through the stencil creating a nice texture. The other examples show use of acrylic colors and PanPastel with some other mark making pencils."
